Packing your carry on

Carry on space is getting smaller and tighter. We recommend a backpack rather than wheeled carry-ons, especially if you don't want your carry on bag gate-checked.

And if you have to manage your own bags on your trip, you'll be so glad you aren't rolling more than a piece of checked luggage!

Pack in your carry on:

• An extra change of clothes (at least another pair of underwear and an alternate top)
• A pen. You might have to fill out forms
• Cash and electronics
• If it's going to be cold in your destination, wear or carry a coat over your arm. Then you can stuff it into the luggage bin
• We recommend printing your final documents and vouchers and carrying them with you, just to be on the safe side (or better yet, use our Soiree digital final documents temporary phone app)
• Remember, you can only carry onboard with you 3 oz-sized containers of liquids that all fit inside one quart-size clear zippered bag. A small bottle of hand sanitizer does not count against this limit and does not have to be placed inside the quart-size bag.
• ​Essentials, such as

• necessary medications
• eyeglasses and/or contact solution
• basic toiletries like toothbrush, hairbrush, and essential makeup
• phone charger
• an international plug adapter
• passport​
