3/30/2021 Iceland reopens for USA travelersThe Icelandic government has recently announced that all those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed to travel to Iceland without being subject to border measures, such as testing and quarantine. But there's more . . . Fully vaccinated means that you have received all recommended doses of an approved vaccine no less than 14 days before travel commences. This is exciting news that will apply to travelers from the USA as of April 6, 2021. You can read more on the US Embassy in Iceland website here. Remember, as of the date this post was published, there are strict re-entry requirements. All travelers returning to the USA must provide proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 before arriving in the United States, whether or not they've been vaccinated. Read more about the re-entry requirements on the US Department of State website here. Ready to plan your Iceland adventure?Iceland is a year-round destination! Want to enjoy the Northern Lights?
