COVID-19 Special Terms & Conditions
Our full Terms & Conditions apply to every travel event, however, we have also created the most lenient special COVID-19 Terms & Conditions possible to protect your customized travel investment

COVID-19 SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Should our plans or policies change, we will notify you promptly.
Land and air travel booked through third party suppliers (such as flights, cruises, destination management companies, other tour operators, etc) provide their own Terms & Conditions which supersede Soirée's. If booking through a third party supplier, we search for reasonably lenient terms among our travel partners in order to protect the travel investment of Soirée clients.
- January 1 - July 31, 2021 travel: COVID-19 Special Terms & Conditions apply for travel scheduled to commence between January 1 - July 31, 2021 as per the schedule below.
- August 1, 2021 and beyond: Standard Terms & Conditions apply to travel scheduled to commence on or after August 1, 2021.

If booking through a third party supplier, we search for reasonably lenient terms among our travel partners in order to protect the travel investment of Soirée clients.
COVID-19 PLANNING FEE: The $399 deposit remains non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled trip using the same itinerary until December 31, 2022.
COVID-19 DEPOSITS: Deposits remain due at time of booking, but are reduced to 20%. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled trip as per below
COVID-19 FINAL PAYMENT DUE DATES FOR TRAVEL SCHEDULED:
We have extended these dates to enable you to make the best personal decision with regard to your planned trip as close to your scheduled departure date as possible.
COVID-19 DEPOSITS: Deposits remain due at time of booking, but are reduced to 20%. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled trip as per below

- April 1, 2021 - July 31, 2021: 90 days in advance
- August 1, 2021 or after: STANDARD Terms & Conditions apply

COVID-19 BEFORE FINAL PAYMENT
IF YOU RESCHEDULE YOUR TRIP BEFORE FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE: Guests who reschedule their trip for COVID-related reasons prior to final payment will receive full deposit credit toward future travel using the same itinerary, valid through December 31, 2022; credit is non-transferable and non-refundable. Applicable price of rescheduled journey applies.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP BEFORE FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE: Cancellation penalties for COVID-related reasons prior to final payment will be frozen at 20%. Guests who cancel without rescheduling will receive a credit toward future travel applied to a trip using the same itinerary for up to one year after the originally scheduled date of travel; credit is non-transferable and non-refundable. Applicable price of new journey applies. After this time, credit expires.

To offer additional peace of mind, we have lowered penalties for cancellation to the most lenient possible. Any penalties assessed will be saved as travel credit as per below. Normally, cancellation penalties would be completely forfeited.

- Up to 30 days prior to travel: 50% penalty applies
- 21-29 days prior to travel: 75% penalty applies
- At 20 days prior to travel: 100% penalty applies

COVID-19 ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Some exclusions and penalties outside of our control (from travel partners, etc) may apply, which will be advised in writing prior to deposit.
Guests are responsible for non-refundable airfare costs & fees that may be part of the itinerary, travel insurance and other related costs. All other standard terms and conditions apply to the booking.

COVID-19 REASONS INCLUDE:
- The U.S. Department of State issues a Level 4: Do Not Travel Global Health Advisory, OR, the government in the guest’s country of residence restricts all but essential travel
- The U.S. Department of State issues a Level 4: Do Not Travel due to COVID-19 for the destination the guest is traveling to, OR the government in the guest’s country of residence issues a comparable advisory
- The destination the guest is traveling to has entry restrictions in place that prohibit the guest from traveling, such as closed borders or extended quarantine requirements
- Declining to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, particularly when required by the destination for entry or to avoid or reduce quarantine
- Testing positive for COVID-19 prior to travel (please purchase trip insurance to cover this possibility)
- Declining to comply with any and all COVID-19 related requirements for entry to, or movement within, the destination such as curfews and mask wearing
