Where is Le Marche?

Picture

Le Marche is one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, a region on the Adriatic coast where rolling emerald hills tumble toward the sea and medieval villages seem frozen in time.

Here, life moves with a quieter rhythm. Vineyards drape the countryside, fishermen return each morning with the day’s catch, and golden piazzas glow beneath the warm afternoon sun.

Wander through hilltop towns scented with wood-fired bread and wild rosemary, sip crisp Verdicchio wines beside olive groves, and discover hidden delights with your local hosts.

In Le Marche, Italy feels deeply authentic, untouched, and wonderfully unhurried. A place to savor slowly, one beautiful moment at a time.

#1: Arts & Flavors (Northern Marche)

Picture
Your journey through the northern Marche unfolds like a love letter to Italy’s hidden heart.

Begin in the seaside town of Fano, where warm welcomes and Adriatic breezes set the tone for the week ahead.

From there, discover the treasures of Fratte Rosa, where centuries-old terracotta traditions, the prized favetta bean, and boutique wines reveal the region’s deep agricultural soul.

In Urbino, a UNESCO jewel, art and history come alive in Renaissance streets brushed with the rich blue of guado, while Fano invites you deeper into local life with its fishing heritage and a steaming bowl of beloved brodetto in a private home.

The days that follow are filled with the authentic rhythms of Marche: truffle hunting in Acqualagna’s woodlands, the dramatic natural beauty of the Gola del Furlo, and the olive groves of Cartoceto, where golden extra virgin olive oil tells its own story of place.

Along the way, it is not only the landscapes and flavors that linger, but the people. Artisans, winemakers, fishermen, and farmers whose passion and generosity turn each moment into a memory.

It is a week of authentic encounters, extraordinary flavors, and landscapes that linger in the heart long after you whisper Arrivederci, Marche.

#2: Genuine Traditions
(Southern Marche)

Picture
Wind your way into the soulful hills of Southern Marche on a journey that leads you deep into authentic Italy, rich with timeless traditions and unforgettable flavors.

In the storybook village of Offida, the delicate artistry of centuries-old tombolo lace-making intertwines with the fragrant notes of a treasured Slow Food delicacy sipped slowly among vine-covered hills.

Beneath the dramatic peaks of the Sibillini Mountains, nature and gastronomy exist in perfect harmony, with earthy lentils, handcrafted cheeses, and farm-fresh delicacies shared by the families who have preserved these traditions for generations.

Ascoli Piceno enchants with its honey-colored travertine piazzas, hidden medieval lanes, and graceful towers rising above what many call the “salotto,” or living room, of Le Marche.

Here, lingering over golden olive ascolane and local specialties becomes an art form all its own.

In Montefortino, sacred sanctuaries lead to intimate moments in the kitchen, where cherished family recipes are lovingly passed on to you.

In Ripatransone three generations of women welcome you to a panoramic winery for a farewell lunch filled with laughter, remarkable wines, and the lingering beauty of Marche, a place that quietly captures the heart.
