Iceland Northern Lights Hunt
Think winter in Iceland is out of the question? Not with this scenic, exciting hunt for the Northern Lights!

Only visible from mid-October through March, the Northern Lights are a natural light phenomenon that requires distance from city light pollution for best observation.
If the night is clear, and the conditions are right, you can watch nature’s multicolor lights dance across the sky. This Iceland February itinerary provides lots of opportunities to get away from the cities for optimal hunting of this unpredictable, yet spectacular, show.
But Iceland is much more than Northern Lights.
Think natural hot springs, impressive waterfalls, volcanos, glaciers, and icebergs. With temperatures on average above New York City’s, you can experience one of the most exciting natural landscapes on earth, rub elbows with fun-loving locals, and feast on award-winning cuisine.
Majesty, pampering, and excitement can all be yours on an Iceland adventure.

Day 3 Pre or Post: Sky Lagoon with Sky Pass
Your private driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel. Immerse yourself in warmth at an oceanside geothermal lagoon, as the dramatic North Atlantic Ocean stretches out before you. Feel yourself relax and unwind as you take in the coastal aromas and moody skies. Then, take your relaxation deeper with the Ritual, a unique seven-step experience, based on the traditions of Icelandic bathing culture and rooted in wellness, wholeness and wonder. It involves a relaxed and pampering combination of warm and cool waters, exfoliating scrub, and steam. Þetta Reddast is the classic Icelandic credo and it's based on a belief that “everything works out in the end.” Reduce stress by believing problems will find their solution, and that adversity is never unsurmountable. Take time to relax and enjoy life.
Note: If this is a Pre-Tour itinerary, your Northern Lights Hunt group tour officially begins on Day 3 with your included overnight hotel stay (usually no change of hotel required). No group activities today.
